It Was Only a Matter of Time...

...Before I started freaking out and worrying!  Well tonight was it.  I was with Leatrice at the Just Between Friends sale, which is a consignment sale for baby/kid items.  There was one item I was looking for but couldn't find.  When I couldn't find any, I started freaking out.  Of course I can go buy them, but it sparked the, "What else don't I have ready yet that I want."  This is not a breaking down crying sort of freaking out.  I want to be on the minimalist side of things.  Even if baby comes early, we already have what we need for the first few days without having to step foot out of the house or have anyone bring anything over.

So here's the question...what item do you think it is that I couldn't find that caused the freaking out?  And please if you have a story to share of the "thing" that made you mothers finally freak out, do tell!  (Leatrice you can't answer the first question, but I'll let you congratulate whoever can come up with it!)

If no one guesses it tomorrow, I'll add hints ;)

Ok, it IS a hard one. And Cara, don't feel bad, I never mentioned anything. So I'll narrow it down to clothing...

A coming home outfit??!!

Cara, not exactly, but it could be. Ok Leatrice, time for the reveal!

I'm going to have to be honest...I don't think I knew those even existed, so there's no way I would've guessed it anyway.

Haha, I'm not worried about not having them anymore. I'm pretty sure freaking out over something that doesn't even matter has to be normal, and frankly, it's kinda fun.

I would have to say either a carseat or stroller. But it really doesn't matter if you have positively everything, there is always that one thing that you think you must have or you aren't ready - its just reality setting in. I remember the Sat before we had Josh (since I knew I was being induced) I started frantically cleaning out the pantry because I was convinced that we wouldn't be ready unless that pantry was spic and span! You are gonna be parents and nothing will get you ready for it! Love you guys and prayin for ya!

I knew it was going to happen at some point. That "freak out" item gets us all. I have three side snap long sleeve onesies you are welcome to have. Anaiah only wore one of them before she got too big since she was such a huge baby. I'll drop them by and leave them on your door step today.

Ok, so I just realized that you were referring to clothing and that Leatrice revealed that answer - lol! Yeah, I didn't even know those existed til he was like 2 months old. They give you some of those side snapping shirts with the mitten cuffs (which are AWESOME by the way) at the hospital. Oh! By the way, bring an extra bag and stock up on all the stuff they give you, diapers, those little shirts, hats, binkies, formula - they charge your insurance for it whether or not you take it. Well, if you all need anything, let us know - watch the dogs, whatever!

Thanks, Meredith, we may take you up on the dog-watching offer!

Rachel, I'm sure most moms have freaked out about something they didn't really need! This was just mine, and I'm claiming it!
