I asked my friend Leatrice to help me with my registry shopping. I initially wasn't even going to do one because I'm not having a shower. Instead, we're planning to have a "Meet the Baby" party at our house 2-3 weeks after baby comes home. I'm looking forward to friends and family coming over in more of an open-house type atmosphere. But a few people have asked if I'm going to register, so I finally decided to go ahead and do it. Then, I was only going to do Target, but of course with Leatrice that wasn't acceptable! Haha, so she convinced me that BabiesRUs was a good idea too and we went out yesterday after watching the movie, Valentine's Day (which I thought was excellent).
I NEVER could have done it by myself. I have a hard time shopping as it is because I'm always wondering if I'm buying the right thing or if I will regret buying it. So having to laser gun a ton of baby items when I don't even know what we'll need was over my head. After about 5 hours we completed the task and even though it was incredibly overwhelming, I had fun!

I had fun too, I love shopping!
I got a list from my sister-in-law, and then went to register with my mom. It is definitely overwhelming, but it was nice to have some things picked out. How fun!
